Shakil, I loved listening to the poems sung; especially the second by Sanjeev and Karuna, which I found very soothing and calm. And yet, as I write I am listening to the first by Siraj Aurangabadi sung by Abida Parveen, which is also very sweet sounding.
The words must be lovely…

  Thanks Carolyn for your love of music. I have found the whole ghazal (poem) which is from the earlier era of Urdu (1700s) and is mostly sufi thought. Actually the Urdu is too difficult for me to understand it fully but fortunately I have also found its English translation by someone. I intend to share it on my blog next.
