The no. 7

1. In the Qoran there is mention of 7 skies (sab’aa samawaat). Is this a coincidence that there are 8 planets including Earth (and excluding Pluto which does not qualify for a planet). So there are 7 planets floating in the sky over the Earth.  Seven skies one above the other so to say.

2. In the Vedas, it is written that Surya Devta (the sun) is riding a rath (vehicle) pulled by seven horses. This may only be a simile as there are seven colours in the rays coming from the Sun. (Visible ones, actually now we know there are lot more ‘colours’: ultra violet, infra red, radio, radar, gamma rays etc). Coincidence or is it knowledge from the High Above?

Shakil Bhai why most of us try to justify the ancient knowledge with reference to present day concept. Things should be seen with relevance to that era and any comparison reflects on the strength of one,s Faith.

Masood Bhai sahab, you are right here. We tend to verify what is already by FAITH deemed to be true and unquestionable. I cannot but try to gain confidence in my faith by such observations.

May be, Janaab Shakil Akhtar sahib, your observations are right but I think the seven skies are a strata of some kind which classifies all universe.
The second one from Vedas is interesting.

Rafi Sahab, Allah (SWT) alone knows what He means by sabaa samawat. I only made an innocent observation. It could only be a coincidence. And yes, compared to the universe, Solar system with its 8 planets are but a tiny dot. and seven skies must be far far beyond.

Hum sab jaantay hain k Sach apnay waqt par zahir hota hay. Aor Sach apnay waqt hi par zaahir hoga. ‘Talash’ kuch bhi nahi hay. Mera khud say ye sawal hota hay k ‘main sach ki talash main tu hooN, lekin kia main nay sach ka saamna karnay k liye khud ko tayyar kar rakha hay?’ Yani main tayyari ki bajaaye ‘talash’ main waqt zaya kar raha hoN, ak aesi cheez ki – jis nay apnay waqt par khud hi zahir hona hay!
Kia “talash” ak dhoka nahi hay?
